StalkIT enters German market, tests with REMONDIS

StalkIT is proud to announce entry into the German market via commercial container tracking trials with renowned family-owned company REMONDIS.
REMONDIS, with 200,000 customers in over 30 countries, is a company dedicated to paving the way for a better future within industrial container fleets.
These trials are part of an innovation program REMONDIS are conducting to discover optimize cost-efficient ways for digitalization of their container fleet.
As part of the innovation initiative, StalkIT will deliver its tracking solution, starting with trials in the south of Germany. REMONDIS is taking advantage of LPWA technologies, in which StalkIT has created a simple to use tracking technology, maximizing the underlaying capabilities of NB IoT, combining physical tracking units with a progressive & always updated Web App interface.
Position, movement and temperature data can now be presented to the industry via cloud-based software in the form of maps, charts, reports and alerts. After the successful branding with Smartbells in Norway, StalkIT has currently launched the ContainIoT brand to target the recycling industry.

“Having the attention from REMONDIS and running commercial trials with them shows we are on the right path with our product-offering for the recycle industry”, says Marcos Arizti Texido, CEO at StalkIT.
The resulting insights enable a powerful return on investment via minimizing loss and theft, optimizing inventory, transforming the repair and maintenance process and providing a real time view of collection frequency. This is in addition to the broader value associated with improved supply chain and operational planning.
Anke Kamppeter from REMONDIS explains, “Right now we are exploring different options to track our containers. The StalkIT technology is easy and simple to get started with. Our intention with this trial is to validate the technology, analyze the functionality of the system and verify the feasibility to integrate it in our systems.”
